The floor plan

Here’s the floor plan of our Home of The Week. Somehow it looks tinier when it’s been scanned, so hopefully the actual-size home will be nice and spacious. (It’s about 1500 square feet in real life.)

On the first floor, you’ve got a one-car garage for the Jetta, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The curvy thing on the southeast corner of the home is a spiral staircase between the first and second floors.

The guest bedroom on the first floor is complete with bathroom, so that when Mom, Dad or Momma Hud come to visit, they don’t have to make unnecessary trips up and down the stairs.

The master bathroom has two sinks, a shower and an oval tub. From the master bedroom, you step out onto a patio that overlooks downtown.

Upstairs, the spiral staircase drops you off next to a small sudy and half bath. The dining room, kitchen and living room with a balcony are up there, too.

We’re meeting with the sales guy tomorrow, so we’ve got a lot of questions to get answered. Finding our Home of the Week is always exciting!
