Got to kiss a lot of frogs

HomeOur concerns about the Villa at Dilbeck Court were quickly forgotten Tuesday afternoon when our realtor Barbara showed us a home we really fell in love with.

Like the last one we put a contract on, it’s not too far down the street from where we are now.

It’s a 2 (big) bedroom, 2 (renovated) bathroom home, with hardwood floors and granite countertops in the kitchen, a gas log fireplace in the living room, an office/sunroom off the master bedroom, a 2-car garage, and (my favorite feature!) a finished-out, air-conditioned gameroom in the back of the garage.

Unlike the last one we put a contract on, we’re planning to be the first offer on the table. We stayed up late with Barbara tonight finishing our offer, and she is hopefully faxing it in as I type. (It’s about midnight right now.) We’re putting a pretty great offer out there, so I’m excited to see how things play out.

We talked with a few of our real estate advisors this evening before working on the contract, and Pam Quarry, one of the gurus of EverBank, reminded us that we gotta kiss a lot of frogs before we find our prince of a home. We’ve seen our share of frogs so far, so hopefully this is our prince.
