One year

I realized today after looking back in the archives that yesterday marked the first anniversary of this little blog. A lot has happened in that year:

• We took a great trip to Galveston
• I started a new job, where we’ve launched a new Web site and done some other cool projects
• Chelsea and I celebrated our first anniversary — she decorated Deedee the bug since the car didn’t get decorated at our actual wedding
• We bought a house, moved in, did a few home improvement projects, had a tree fall on a power line, and had a margarita machine for a day in our backyard
• I got into the evening law program at SMU

I bet this next year will be even better. Chelsea and I will both grow in our careers. I’ll head back to school. We’ll get the hang of this home ownership thing. We’ll get to travel some more, if only to exotic places like Galveston, Austin and Olney. I’ll creep closer to the Big 3-0, and we’ll celebrate our second year of marriage.
