Certainly on the right track

Ok, so I got my first little research project back tonight, and although I have plenty of stuff to improve, here’s what the grade sheet looked like:

• Setting the stage: Showed understanding.
• Rule stated & proved: Showed understanding.
• Rule explained/rule “in action” examples: Showed understanding.
• Application of rule to facts (only after law fully explored: Showed understanding.

Then the professor wrote at the bottom of my memo: “Certainly on the right track!”

Woohoo! Now it’s off to start on the next project!
