Sassy’s first snow

We had the first really wintery weather of the season, and if you believe the TV weather-people, it was an ARCTIC BLAST! At least that seemed to be their favorite term for it. They had extended coverage of their intrepid reporters standing alongside various freeways, looking bravely into the camera and speaking in grave tones about how the sky was, indeed, falling.

Now as one who has had a messy wreck on ice before, I shouldn’t criticize their overdramatic reporting. But at least in Dallas, all we had was a wee bit of freezing rain.

It was Sassy’s first winter weather, though, so I had to take a picture of what she looked like wearing a winter coat of ice!
