Calling all experienced gardeners: A particular patch in our backyard has refused to grow grass this spring. As best I can tell, the sprinklers are hitting it, plus we’ve had a lot of rain lately. The yard guys fertilized, too. A little of it has come back, but now the patches seem to be hopping around a bit. Our yard and I would appreciate any suggestions!
Sorry, bub - someone else will have to help you with this problem. Green thumbs are not something I come equipped with. 
What??? You have a “yard guy”? What did they fertilize with? Maybe your local garden center expert has some solutions. Or try calling Neil Sperry — he orter know.

Is that where Addie goes to the bathroom?? A yard guy told me once that female dogs pee will do that to your yard.
