- Leading a cross-campus team of developers and designers to create and maintain interactive Web portals for prospective students, current students, donors and alumni
- Leading the selection process for constituent relationship management, Web content management, online giving and event management systems
- Managing the implementation of selected systems, working closely with in-house staff and managing multiple vendor relationships
- Recruiting, hiring and retaining key staff and projecting future staffing needs in preparation for a capital campaign
- Measuring success using analytics tools and reporting, tying results to staff goal-setting, reviews and advancement
- Managing an online giving site redesign that resulted in a 150% increase in the number of online donors and a 30% increase in total online giving
- Developing strategies for blogging, online video and podcasting
- Managing the University’s online marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources by bringing appropriate projects in-house
- Producing videos and presentations that resulted in a $33 million gift, the largest the University had received
- Working closely with IT staff, university administrators, academic leadership, and Public Affairs colleagues on the George W. Bush Presidential Library announcement and other high-profile projects
